It has been a long journey, but the transformation has arrived. We are leaving behind the «Nederland Group» brand to become Nessentis, the new name under which we will continue to accompany you through the world of cocoa and agricultural commodities.

What’s Nessentis?

Nessentis is a brand, not a company; it is the global brand that, from now on, will serve as an umbrella for the companies Nederland, S.A., Moner Cocoa, S.A., and Commodity, S.A., as well as their product brands and various ranges.

Nessentis replaces the concept of «Nederland Group,» which has accompanied us until now in our effort to encompass the activities of different companies under the same ownership, all operating in similar business areas within the cocoa transformation sector and the commercialization of other agricultural commodities.

Why’s been Nessentis created?

Nessentis borns, on one hand, out of the need to simplify our business structure. Over the years, we had created and accumulated different companies and product brands to carry out our activities, mainly related to the transformation and commercialization of cocoa derivatives. This process led to a somewhat complex commercial and corporate structure, which often raised questions among our clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

On the other hand, in recent years we have made numerous efforts to build an internal work culture that allows us to operate as a strong and united team under a shared sense of belonging. With the creation of Nessentis, we want to take a further step toward this consolidation, creating something new that all our employees can feel part of and proud of.

Why “Nessentis”?

Nessentis is the brand with which we want to shape our future, without giving up or forgetting any of the past successes and lessons that have brought us to where we are today.

The syllable “NE” at the beginning of the brand is a clear nod to a 90-year legacy created by “NEderland” and later by “MoNEr,” two of our longest-standing and most relevant companies and brands.

The second part of our new brand refers to what defines our purpose, what we could not exist without, and what shapes all our ultimately, the essence of the raw materials we work with, and the essence of a carefully crafted process that preserves the best of the origin in our products.

Renewed digital presence

With Nessentis, a new way of communicating and connecting with our stakeholders is also born.

We are launching a renewed main website, www.nessentis.com, which will be the gateway to discovering all our companies and products, our commitments, our global presence, and our value proposition as a business group. In addition, our corporate emails will now use the domain @nessentis.com.

We will also have websites for our product brands Nederland and Moner, designed to make our commercial offering as accessible as possible: www.nederlandcocoa.com and ww.monercocoa.com.

We will also strengthen our presence on the professional network LinkedIn through a multichannel strategy and debut on YouTube, with varied content aimed at showcasing our products, processes, facilities, and teams.

Finally, we will transform much of the valuable content we currently share (market reports, announcements, industry news) into a simple and accessible digital format.
